Welcome to FoodOut. We take pride in the quality of our food products and strive for 100% customer satisfaction. However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to assist you.


Overview

Our refund and return policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.


Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.

  • A valid receipt or proof of purchase must be provided.

  • Products must not be perishable or part of our non-returnable items list.

📦 Important: Please do not send any product back to the manufacturer directly.


Non-Returnable Items

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food items)

  • Downloadable software or digital products

  • Health & personal care items

  • Gift cards

  • Flammable liquids/gases or hazardous materials

  • Intimate or sanitary products


Partial Refunds May Be Issued For:

  • Items with visible signs of use

  • Opened items or packaging not in original condition

  • Missing parts not due to our error

  • Returns requested after 30 days of delivery


Refunds Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, you will be notified via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment via Razorpay (UPI, card, wallet, or net banking).
⏳ Please allow 7–10 business days for the refunded amount to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.


Late or Missing Refunds

If your refund hasn’t arrived yet:

  • Check your bank account or Razorpay wallet again.

  • Contact your card provider or bank (processing may take additional time).

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds.
Sale or discounted items are non-refundable, unless they are damaged or defective.


Exchanges

We replace items only if they are:

  • Defective, or

  • Damaged during delivery

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit. Once the returned item is received and approved, a gift voucher or coupon will be issued.

If the gift was shipped to the giver, the refund will be sent to the original purchaser.

🚚 Note: Customers are responsible for paying return shipping costs. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
If you receive a refund, the cost of any prepaid return shipping will be deducted from your refund total.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we are not responsible for returned items lost in transit.
